A SIMPLE RUNNER
After a long weekend of working outdoors I settled back indoors yesterday and stitched a few batik strips together to make a runner for the coffee table. We bought a different table last summer and it's square, meaning I need to make a few new toppers for it! I prefer simple runners with a wide band on each end and no other borders. It took minutes to make. As usual my photo isn't all that good.
The strips have been tucked away in a drawer for quite a while. I can't even remember the fabric line. I can say that the strips feel more like silk than cotton ~ very nice to work with. Are you working on something special right now?
