NEED A SMILE?

My husband Jeff is supportive of everything I do ~~ hands-on supportive and helpful.  He recently took time to lay out the blocks of a Double Slice quilt I've been making him.

I love the fabric line, Birchbark Lodge, but it's unravels every time you touch it.  I was clipping loose threads when Jeff came home from work yesterday and he immediately put on his headlight and took over!  In no time he had all the stray threads clipped and it's now ready to go out to be quilted.

I added the borders to the quilt yesterday and that took a few hours.  I had enough yardage to cut the borders lengthwise without needing to seam them.  There was enough fabric to cut the binding the same way.  I prefer cutting binding strips cross-grain because they are a little more flexible that way, but this will work.

Now that this is done I can pull out another UFO to work on.

Wishing you a wonderful day!  Barb

  1. Hi Barb,

Please contact Al and have him send me a new password. I have been trying for days, I even called the shop. I cannot get on the forum AT ALL!!! The shop keeps telling me what to do and It won't do anything. I can't get a hold of Al and they told me he is the one that can send me a new password. I had a week that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I would really appreciate it if, you would contact Al for me and ask him if he would please email me a new password. 3. Hi Barb,

I love Jeff's quilt, you do such gorgeous work in anything you do.
LOL, Joe bought me the headlight like Jeff's so if the power goes out.
With my luck, it probably won't turn on the time I need it.
